Even though women make up 51% of the population and 56% of the workforce they are not making it to leadership positions on boards, in politics, broadcasting and academia.

What obstacles face women and will things ever change?

Funded by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland Angie Mezzetti hears from ‘Leading Women’ in Ireland about what it takes to make it through the glass ceiling and investigates what’s stopping women from making it to the top, in this week’s Documentary On Newstalk.

‘Leading Women’ will air on Newstalk 106-108fm on Saturday, 2nd August at 7am and repeated on Sunday, 3rd August at 6pm.
