Today on Down to Business we took the show on the road again with Winning Back the High Street and went to my hometown of Kilkenny, broadcasting from the Left Bank.
We met the co-founder of Cartoon Saloon, Tomm Moore - who were nominated for the Best Animated Feature Oscars in 2015 (Song of the Sea) and 2009 (The Secret of Kells).
They've been taking the animation world by storm, rivaling major companies Pixar and Disney.
Tomm, 38, explained how such a success came from humble beginnings.
But the animation company has gone from strength to strength and now employs 40 people.
The Kilkenny native explained it was no easy feat to create an animated filming, explaining the intricate process that goes into building a film from scratch.
"We're the lead studio so we do all the main designs. We do the blueprints for the whole production maybe about 20 minutes of the animation to set the standard - all the main backgrounds, the main design, the writing story-boarding and then our partners would follow on from there.
"Usually you record the voices very early on when you only have a rough storyboards and then the animators can be inspired by the actor's performance and the music would be a collaboration right from the start.
"You might have some of the key themes written early on and then at the end when the film's completed, you record it with the orchestra."
Tomm treated today's guests to a live drawing:
This was the end result:
They've just hired a new creative director to create work just like that alongside Tomm and he had this advice for anyone wanting to get into the business:
After the company's success with 'The Secret of Kells', Moore has just made "Song of the Sea".
It was shot for roughly $6.4 million. Like his first film, "Song of the Sea" springs from the rich source material of Irish history and folklore, taking its inspiration from the Selkies, mythological creatures who live as seals in the sea but become humans on land and serve as an allegory for loss. The story follows a child named Ben and his little sister, Saoirse, whose mysterious mother has died, leaving their father, voiced by Brendan Gleeson, lost in grief.
