For this week's 'out and about' adventure Bobby Kerr visited Wildcat Ink - a tattoo parlour on the top floor of Dublin's Stephen Green shopping centre.

He met the company's accountant, Dolores Murray. She decided to open a natural beauty business in 1988 when the iconic centre first opened.

As her son trained in body piercing she decided to dedicate one treatment room to piercing - she says that it quickly became clear that there was more money to be made in that than the beauty game - and the store moved into the body modification business and became Celestial Ring in 1999.

They then added tattooing, and now they run both Wildcat Ink in St Stephen's Green - and another shop on Jervis St on Dublin's north side.

Bobby Kerr has not actually gotten a sleeve of tattoos for himself - and he has warned that if any of his children get a tattoo he'll get the exact same one, it's been a successful tactic in keeping them ink-free to date.

Treatments cost €100 per hour and Wildcat's motto is, "If you can think it - we can ink it."

Ms Murray is involved in the process of formalising regulations for tattoo parlours, both at national and European levels, she says that her stores use "the cleanest, most hygienic practises that are available."

Shamrocks and celtic designs are favourites in the shops - particularly with visitors looking for a souvenir to take home from Dublin.
