This week Down to Business is presented by our business editor Vincent Wall while Bobby Kerr takes some time off.
Here's what we have ready to go:
- Kicking things we look at the stories breaking in the business pages of the morning's newspapers with Brian O’Reilly who is Senior Partner with BP O'Reilly Solicitors.
- How to Manage Negative Employees - HR consultant David Bell joins us to look at the tricky issue of dealing with a ‘Negative Nelly’ in the Workplace.
- Flying without Fear - Continuing our series of visits to business Down to Business Producer John Fardy gets to fly a plane... well a simulator, when he joins Michael Comyn Flyfearless.ie who runs for courses for people who are too anxious to get into the skies.
- Brexit - For many the prospect of Britain leaving the Europe is a lot like the Scottish Referendum on Scotland leaving the United Kingdom; it’s simply never going to happen. Denis MacShane former Europe Minister for Britain who is in Dublin this week thinks it’s quite likely that Britain will leave. He has just written Brexit: How Britain will leave Europe. The former MP has lived a colourful life which includes a prison stay for false expense claims.
- Putting on a Christmas Festival or Show - It may be too early for us but the Christmas Festival is fasting becoming a fixture on the Irish Christmas Scene. We speak to people from Winterval in Waterford, The Cork North Pole Outpost Experience and Panto at the Helix.
- Getting Kids into Science - How do we make the scientists of the Future? Tracey-Jane Cassidy is the owner, founder and director of Junior Einstein’s Science Club and she joins us to show us how we can get kids burning bunsen burners.
- Executive Chair - This week we welcome Enda Gunnell, the CEO of Pinergy to talk Energy and more.
