The HeartBeat mobile cardiac screening service provided by Laya healthcare to Lidl employees stopped off in Tyrellstown and allowed Bobby Kerr to come for a heart check up.
He was joined by legendary Sunday Game anchor, Michael Lyster, who has recently recovered from what could have been a fatal heart attack.
Michael was fitted with a defibrillator, and thankfully he is back in good health.
He has been keen to get involved with the scheme - and to highlight the importance of screening for heart problems before they escalate:
"I cannot stress the important of cardiac screening and complement both Lidl and Laya healthcare on the amazing work which they are doing.
"My experience in June showed me how quickly a problem with your heart can completely paralyse your body leaving you or others with very little time to react in order to save your life. Cardiac screening to detect these problems before they arise really can prove to be the difference between life and death, so I cannot emphasise the importance enough.”
The purpose-built double decker bus will serve 143 Lidl stores, warehouses and regional offices at 61 locations across the country over a three month period, screening the 3,200 members of the Lidl team.
Michael Lyster discussed his health scare - and the steps that can be taken to avoid heart problems - on this week's show.
While we had the man's ear it would have been rude not to talk GAA - seeing as we are well into the business end of the championship!
