Legendary broadcaster Weeshie Fogarty joined Bobby Kerr on Down to Business this morning, and spoke about the culture of football that is part and parcel of life in Kerry.
Fogarty spoke to Bobby about the way that football is part of the day to day life in Kerry, but that there was a strong link between business and football in the county.
"I always think that when you talk about Kerry, there are three things: football, religion and family. Usually family comes first and football comes second. It's an integral part of life here".
Weeshie also spoke about the fundraising efforts that Kerry GAA has been working on to bring in money and create state of the art facilities in Currans, a lot of which is being done abroad through diaspora who have strong ties to the county.
While Fogarty stated that the Kerry "brand" is massive abroad, it was incredibly important at home too: "no matter where you go in Kerry in Kerry you dip your toe or your finger into business and football".
