Here’s the first part of the trip to French Guiana where we got to see how a rocket goes into space.
We traveled to the ESA’S launch site near the equator and witnessed the launch of the Sentinel 1a satellite which is going into the skies in order to take real-time imagery of the world below which will help detect things like oil spills and landslides.
In the video you’ll witness the build up to the launch as we got to go inside Mission Control. You’ll also get to see the actual moment that we call ‘blast-off’. In a strange kind of way it’s just like you’d see in the movies.
The adventure was powered by Windows 8.
Keep an eye out for the second part coming soon where we travel deep into the Amazon Jungle to come face to face with its exotic wildlife.
