Heavy rain is on the way for the south and south east of the country this evening.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.
The forecaster said there is a risk of spot flooding with up to 30mm of rain expected to fall.

The Status Yellow warning will come into force at 8pm and remain until 10am tomorrow.
