An elderly Swiss couple have been stealing the money from church collection boxes out of boredom, report the BBC.

The married couple, aged 70 and 73, have allegedly stolen hundreds of Swiss francs from different churches since November 2013. Apparently, the husband kept watch outside, while his wife emptied the boxes.

The couple, who are reportedly well-off, say one of their motives was the adrenaline rush they got from "the pleasure of the forbidden", local media report. They have now been arrested and an investigation has been launched.
