This morning, a long line of people gathered outside the Apple store in Perth in an attempt to get their hands on the highly anticipated iPhone 6.
18-year-old Jack Cooksey reserved the phone online and rushed to the store to collect it at 6am.
After collection, he was asked by a reporter to show it off but there was a loud gasp from the crowd as the iPhone slid out of the box and crashed the ground.

Speaking to Perth Now, Cooksey said: 'I dropped it in a panic to get it open. Luckily it's covered in plastic, so it's fine. I just can't wait to open it again, and not drop it'.
