Electric Ireland's Powering Kindness week is back and once again Newstalk need your help to put power behind kindness for a good cause.
We want to make kindness count, so we're inviting everyone to do something nice for someone else- and pass it on.
Across the station we have divided the shows into three teams and each team is supporting 1 of 3 charities
Team Breakfast are supporting Special Olympics
Team Lunchtime & Moncrieff are supporting Childline
Team George are supporting Breakthrough Cancer Research.
Its really easy to get involved simply do a good deed, tell us about it, then pick 1 of the 3 charities to benefit from your kindness.
So whether its washing your neighbour's car for Childline or just making a colleague a cup of tea for Special Olympics- its the deed that counts.
At the end of the week, Electric Ireland will share the sum of €100,000 between the three charities, with the largest amount going to the charity with the most good deeds in their name.
So make sure to tune in all next week and help celebrate Powering Kindness week. You can join the conversation by texting your good deeds in to Newstalk or you can visit www.poweringkindness.ie for more information about the campaign and how to record your acts of kindness.
