In advance of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series at the Serpent's Lair on Inis Mor in the Aran Islands, Galway, on June 28th-29th, cliff diving champions Blake Aldridge and Gary Hunt performed a 20 metre dive from the crow's nest on the famine ship the Jeanie Johnston into Dublin's Liffey.

I went along to try and defy gravity and reach speeds up to 85Kph in 3 seconds but before that I needed to learn how to dive into the slimy green Liffey.
