Ahead of sneaking out of the office a few minutes early to celebrate January’s pay cheque finally arriving by hitting the pub, you might want to spare a moment for The Very Hungover Caterpillar.

On today’s Moncrieff Show, Seán will be chatting to Josie Lloyd, the co-creator of a spoof version of the classic children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which has been charming kids worldwide since 1969.

Josie’s version spoofs the original and modern life, taking a wry look at parenting the morning after the night before. The illustrated book sees Dad struggling to come to terms with an evening on the beer the old fashioned way – by eating everything he can get his hands on and driving his family mad along the way.
