Police officers in Florida were called to a home on Monday after a cleaning woman found the would-be thief napping on a bed with a bag full of jewellery laying next to him.

The suspect was still sleeping when officers arrived, so police decided to snap a few photos of him.

“Talk about falling asleep on the job!!” the Sarasota Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page. “He was passed out … on the bed and didn’t even notice the deputies taking pictures! #FloriDUH.”
