The 28-year-old woman from Florida, in the US, was arguing with her partner of two years.  The man in question apparently refused to answer her calls leading her to respond by pulling out the taser and shot him repeatedly in his side.

The woman was arrested for misdemeanour battery, with a police report from the incident reading: 'She continued to stun the victim as he was trying to get away from her."

The pair - who are also expecting a child together - were arguing at a road intersection when a deputy of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's office spotted redness on the man's body.

She has since admitted to causing the injuries and has been given a plea date for February 11.
