A passenger attempted to hijack a plane clutching only a bar of TOBLERONE and tried to force the crew to fly it to the Sochi Olympics, a court heard.
Antti Oskari Manselius, 23, from Finland, also made a false bomb threat while on board the Hong Kong-bound flight and told cabin crew he was robbing the plane.
He even clutched the triangular choclate bar "like a sword" with two in-flight blankets wrapped round his head and wearing another as a cape as he headed towards the cockpit.
Manselius, who had boarded the plane in Amsterdam, claimed in a Hong Kong court he was only trying to entertain other passengers and was "making fun and jokes".
But flight attendant Leung Hiu-lun told the hearing: "He was furious. He made me feel like he was trying to endanger the aircraft.
"He said, 'I am robbing the plane now. I want to see the Olympics in Sochi and I need to get off the plane now."
Leung said Manselius was not violent, only waving the bar as he talked.
But the would-be hijacker was later handcuffed on the orders of the captain.
