Humpty Dumpty, a popular fixture at the EnchantedForest theme park in Turner, Oregon in the US took a great fall last Saturday after two men reportedly tried to climb up on the wall with him and accidentally pulled Humpty down.
“Humpty is like a part of our family,” noted a post on the Enchanted Forest Facebook page.
According to the theme park, Humpty was built more than 40 years ago and was an original work by Salem artist Roger Tofte.
There was no immediate decision on plans for repairing or replacing Humpty.
"Witnesses have told us two adult men tried to climb up on the wall with Humpty Dumpty and accidentally pulled the wall and Humpty down. Humpty is like a part of our family, and original art by Roger. It's true he's old, built before 1970, but he was still very special to us and not a family member we were looking to replace!
Thank you all for the messages! We will keep the updates coming. Hopefully, eventually we can all look back on this with a smile at a fairy tale come to life!"
