A dad held his baby proudly as a photographer took a loving photo of the two of them but got more than he bargained for.

As the photographer took the pictures, the atmosphere changed dramatically as four-day-old baby named Ted let loose with an explosion of liquid poop.

Al Ferguson, from Kent, said "We wanted to capture Ted in the earliest stages. During the shoot I felt his tummy muscles tense up and in that moment I knew what was about to happen. Unfortunately, it was just a moment and before I could do anything Ted exploded from his bum”.

Moral of the story, always have a nappy on stand-by.
