This is one way of loosing your gun license!
An Australian man Guy Albon appeared in the photo of his new licence with a colander on his head.
"The law stipulates you can have something on your head... but you have to have your entire face uncovered and if the headgear is being worn it has to have some religious significance," the 30-year-old, who is an atheist, told Ninemsn. "I thought 'I've got this one in the bag'... it was an absolute scream."
The 30-year-old man, who is an atheist, said he convinced the woman who took the photo that he was a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, a satirical protest religious movement that grew to notoriety in the US Christian Bible Belt.
Albon said everything was fine until he submitted paperwork to have his license status changed. Cops saw his photo and became apprehensive about his access to firearms. They came to his home and confiscated two guns and two rifles, and ordered him to see a psychiatrist.
Albon said the psychiatrist "laughed it off."
He's begrudgingly agreed to have his gun license photo retaken without the colander, but suggested he might try and have his driver's license photo taken with it on.
"What are they gonna do, come and take my car off me?" Albon said.
