Gun safety is very important. Well, it is to some people.
A man in Pennsylvania, accused of shooting a bullet through a neighbour’s window, told a judge he fired the gun because it was the only way he knew how to unload it.
The local detective Patrick Nicastro told the Bucks County Courier Times that 31-year-old George Byrd IV of Penndel at first denied being behind the shooting but then admitted he fired the weapon to clear the chamber because he was unfamiliar with guns. But hey, it's his right to own a gun. Sigh.
Authorities say Byrd fired the gun early Friday afternoon in the suburban Philadelphia community.
Luckily for everyone no one was injured.
His trial continues.
