Sometimes a person's loyalties can be divided.

Poor Pastor Tim Christensen of Gold Hill Lutheran Church in Montana.  His job is to be a pastor and to deliver his Sunday sermon at his service.

Unfortunately his morning 11am service clashed with the kick-off for the San Francisco 49ers v Carolina Panthers American football game.

So 49ers fan Pastor Christensen decided to perform a one-minute service then rush out to catch the game on television.

In a video captured by a member of the congregation, Pastor Christensen can be seen asking: "Would you all like to be forgiven for your sins? OK, that's great. You are," before adding " there's some bread and some wine up here on the table. Feel free to help yourself if you'd like to."

Opening up his vestment to reveal a 49ers T-shirt, the pastor then shouts, "I'm out of here".
