A southeastern Pennsylvania man charged with breaking into a neighbour's house says he was only borrowing eggs to make breakfast.
Local newspaper, The Bucks County Courier Times reported that Christopher King told police he was more concerned about his omelette on Tuesday morning.
Police who responded to the report of a burglary didn’t quite believe his story. They arrived to find him walking out the front door with cabinet drawers and doors open throughout the house. Where was he looking for eggs exactly??
The homeowner told police nothing appeared to be missing.
King is charged with felony burglary and related charges. Online court documents don't list an attorney for him.
