Linda Ducharme from Florida married the giant theme park ride she likes to call Bruce last year and has since renewed her vows.

The bizarre ceremony was filmed by US channel Logo TV, following hot on the heels of a man who married a tree and another who married a pillow.

Remembering the moment she first set her eyes on the inanimate object, the love-struck woman told the station: ‘I got this weird feeling I can’t explain.

‘My heart was pounding as we went up the platform and got on the ride. I felt like I was being taken by this ride.

‘Bruce is my world, I think about him constantly, it just completely feels right when I’m with Bruce.’
