Disruptive students were stunned into silence after their math teacher threatened to reveal Game of Thrones plot twists.

Fed-up with their ongoing bad behavior, the teacher reportedly asked pupils at the school in Belgium who was watching the hit fantasy drama.

When three quarters of their hands shot up, he said: "Well I have read all the books and from now on when there is too much noise I will write the name of the next death."

He then started writing character names on the board.

The room then fell into a deathly silence.

News of the unnamed teacher's innovative control technique was revealed after students wrote about it on social media and their posts went viral, reports the Nieuwsblad newspaper.

"I can tell you there was a religious silence during the last lesson," added one of the teens.
