According to a survey by Eason 1 in 5 Irish parents don’t read to their children. The bookshop have set up a 'Get into Reading' campaign to encourage reading to young children, a practise that seems to be on the decline and time pressure is the main reason given by parents.


I spoke to rugby pundit and children's author Brent Pope, a Children’s book buyer and parents about the dying practice of bedside reading.
