Chief operating officer of Facebook and author of Lean In, Sheryl Sandberg came to Facebook HQ, Dublin today.

Journalist Edel Coffey hosted a conversation highlighting the changing roles for today's female graduates, the challenge of the gender quota debate and how one of the most powerful women in business, who is personally worth more than $1bn, leaves work at 5.30pm.  More importantly, why we find that last fact shocking.

Below are two clips from her talk.

You could be forgiven for thinking that the very accomplished Sandberg always knew what she wanted to do and had a map of her life laid out. Edel asks about what her plans were when she was a graduate and how important it is to plan ahead.

A guest from the audience asks Sandberg what her attitude is towards gender quotas being put in place to encourage and insure more women are at boardroom tables.

"Quotas can be useful, they will never be the full solution to the problem."
