On Sunday June 30th 1929, An Ulster Championship Semi Final was destined to become part of GAA lore after an on-field collision between James Kernan of Armagh and Jim Smith of Cavan. Two days later, Kernan died at Armagh Infirmary  and Smith was charged with murder…
