Ten people have been killed in a shooting at a school for adults in Sweden.
Police say they don't believe the attack - in the city of Orebro - is terrorism related.
Journalist Philip O'Connor in Sweden said the incident has come as a shock to the city.
“It's a university town, it's a very old town, it's a town that's famous for being a trading post, and it's a very, very quiet place normally,” he said.
“I mean, like every place or every city, it has a sort of, not exactly no-go areas, but it has areas that would be less quiet, shall we say.
“But this is certainly the sort of thing that will come as a shock to everybody around here.”
Photographer Pavel Koubek, who is near the school building, said there's a heavy police presence.
“I'm outside is the school and quite a bit of distance away, but there's police all around, and at least three police helicopters have landed here, police officers with weapons drawn all around the school building,” he said.
The gunman is among those dead.
