Gardaí are investigating the suspected theft of a large amount of sheep in Co Meath.

It happened at a farm in the Mountnugent area between June 10th and June 13th.

More than 100 sheep are believed to have been taken.

Gardaí are appealing to the public for information, or if they saw any suspicious activity during those times.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
