Do you notice that sun? Those cloudless, clear-blue skies today? That means that for thousands of moaning teenagers across the country, summer is officially over and they're once again back in secondary school.
For the rest of us, well, all we have are the memories. Like the following:
1. When a punishment didn't feel like a punishment
2. Arguing with our teacher over something we knew they were wrong about
3. Aside from all the Irish and Maths, secondary school was also where we learned to laugh at other people's misfortunes
4. Hell hath no fury like a secondary school student faced with a weak-minded teacher
5. It didn't matter if we got moved to either end of the classroom... We still figred out a way to communicate with our current BFF
6. Was there any greater feeling? Maybe a free class, but this was pretty close
7. School was also where we learned basic begrudgery
8. For those two to five minutes, we tasted FREEDOM
9. Heavy bags are the reason we have such terrible posture. Well, that and from slouching on the couch when we came home to watch Sabrina
10. It was all fun and games until the substitute tried to exert their authority over us
11. We'd be lying if we said we didn't enjoy all the attention
What did we miss? What do you remember about secondary school?
