120,000 ecstasy tablets have been seized in Dublin.

They were discovered as part of an intelligence led operation involving Revenue's customs service and the Garda National Drugs Unit.

The tablets had originated in Belgium and were impressed with a Superman logo.

They have an estimated street value of €1.2m.

Investigations are on-going.
