Police are describing the incident as a "terrorist attack".

An Israeli official has said that the ceasefire "is a mess"  and has also confirmed the continuation of the offensive in Gaza.

Heavy airfire continued into Gaza last night with a number of deaths and casualties recorded.

It brings the Palestinian death toll to 155 while so far 4 Israelis have lost their lives.

Truce talks continue

The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Jerusalem for talks aimed at agreeing a lasting ceasefire.

However any hope of this happening soon have been dashed by both sides unwillingness to back down with innocent civilians in Gaza and parts of Israel set suffer.

Last night a Hamas official said that an Egyptian-brokered truce would take effect from 10pm.

However a spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister described the announcement as premature.
