14 people have died in an explosion and suicide bombing in the Somalian capital of Mogadishu.

The dead included nine attackers as a car bomb went off and shortly afterwards a number of gunmen wearing suicide vests shot people dead and blew themselves up.

Somalia's Al Qaeda linked group, Shebab, has claimed responsibility for the attack at Mogadishu's main court complex. The dead include five civilians.
