Some 17 people are due in court this morning following an operation in North Dublin targeting suspected burglary gangs. 

As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí in the DMR North Division arrested 20 men and three women yesterday. 

Those arrested were charged with over 100 offences in total, including burglary, theft and unauthorised taking of a vehicle. 

Some 17 of those arrested are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice and Swords District Court this morning. 

The other six will go before Dublin District Courts on Wednesday and Thursday.
