Two men have been arrested following the discovery of cannabis and cocaine worth almost €500,000 in Co. Tipperary.

Gardaí searched a house at Ballywire, Kilross yesterday afternoon, discovering 20kg of cannabis and a kilo of cocaine.

Two men in their 30s were arrested at the scene and taken to Tipperary Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.
