Two men from Northern Ireland have been charged in connection with the death of a man found in a container at Tilbury Docks in England last Saturday.
Meet Singh Kapoor, 40, from Afghanistan, was found dead among a group of 35 immigrants who were aged between one to 72 years old. 13 children were among the group. The group is believed to have fled their home nation due to fear of persecution. They are now in the process of claiming asylum in the UK.
The men, from County Derry, who are both lorry drivers, will appear in court in England later today charged with conspiring to facilitate illegal entry into the UK.
