There has been a surge in the number of people caught drug dealing in Dublin. It has led to calls for more gardaí on the streets.
Drug dealing and anti-social behaviour is evidence on a daily basis in the city centre.
Between January and August, the gardaí arrested 567 people.

That is a massive 200% increase from the 184 who were caught during the same period last year.
The number caught for simple possession also trebled - from 273 to 561 during the past eight months.
It has led to business groups calling for increased garda presence in the city centre.
