2013 was quite the turbulent year in the politics of this country. From the Anglo tapes, to party splits and from the LRC to the CRC, this year has seen its share of protests, strikes and rifts.
For the government, it was a year of referendums won and lost; of abortion legislation passed and a bailout exited.
On the Sunday show today Shane was joined by a panel to look back at the year 2013 in Irish politics. Columnist John Waters; Daniel McConnell, group political correspondent with Independent Newspapers and Prof.Gary Murphy from the school of Politics in DCU discussed the affairs and futures of the political parties, as well as the big political stories of the year.
