New figures show that some 8% of graduates aged under 30 left Ireland last year. compared to just over 6% in 2012.
The Irish Medical Council says in total, 1,200 doctors exited the medical register in 2013.
Of these, young doctors accounted for less than 120.
The report does not assess the reasons behind young doctors deciding to leave Ireland. But the Irish Medical Organisation claims it is for financial reasons.
Caroline Spillane is the chief executive of the Medical Council.
It comes on the back of new figures which show one Irish person is leaving Ireland every 13 minutes.
The numbers from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) showed 81,900 people left Ireland in the 12 months up to April 2014.
