A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Dean Johnson in Dublin last month.
The 21-year-old was shot dead in Clondalkin in August.
Gardaí detained the 23-year-old on the Neilstown Road in Clondalkin yesterday. He is being held at Lucan Garda Station under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Earlier this week, as part of the same investigation, a man appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of a shotgun following searches last week.
Just after midnight on Friday August 23rd Mr. Johnson was found at Harelawn Green in Ronanstown. He had been shot a number of times in the head and body.
