25,000 ESB customers are preparing to spend another night without power.
The ESB says it's doing 'everything humanly possible' to restore power to the final 25,000 customers left without electricity.
The company has returned supply to nearly 250,000 people since storm Darwin wreaked havoc with the network on Wednesday.
Many of the faults have been caused by trees falling on lines and it's taking time to remove branches before repairs can be carried out.
It will be early next week before all customers are back on the gird, however the ESB is promising to 'prioritise vulnerable' users.
35,000 customers were returned to the grid today.
