3 people have been found dead in a house in Roscommon town.
Gardaí were alerted to the scene just after 7:30am
Gardaí in Roscommon town responded to a call after smoke was seen from a 1-story house at St. Ciaran’s Park.
Inside they found the remains of 3 men believed to be in their 20s or 30s.
Fire services also attended the scene.
But it is understood they were not called upon to put out a blaze.
The bodies of the men remain at the house.
Gardai will not confirm the exact cause of the deaths until a full technical and post mortem examination is complete.
The scene has been sealed off for a forensic examination.
