Three men in their 20s and 30s have been charged with membership of the IRA.

The three appeared before the Special Criminial Court in Dublin this morning.

Natan Kinsella, of Matt Talbot Court, Dublin 1; Daragh Evans, of Grange Park Rise, Raheny, Dublin and Vincent Ryan, of Grange Abbey Drive, Donaghmeade, Dublin were all arrested as part of Operation Ambience – a massive garda sting operation launched against dissident republican activity in Dublin, Meath and Kildare.

The men have been remanded in custody and will appear before court again on Friday.

14 other people arrested as part of the same operation have been released without charge.

The arrests were made in the aftermath of a show of republicanism at the funeral of RIRA member Alan Ryan last weekend.

Mr. Ryan was shot dead in Dublin, near to his home.
