It has been confirmed that a ten-year-old girl and three women have died, following a road crash on the N4 north of Mullingar in County Westmeath.

The child and the women, aged in their late thirties and early forties, were killed when their car collided with a 4x4 vehcle shortly before eight o'clock this morning.
