30 people have been killed in a car bomb attack in Iraq. The attack took place in the northern city of Kirkuk.

70 people were also injured when gunmen stormed a police headquarters and tried to take control of the compound.

Then militants then made an unsuccessful attempt to raid the compound armed with guns, grenades and suicide vests.
