Over 300 swimmers will be braving the elements today - to take part in the annual Liffey Swim.

Now in it's 94th year - the river has been specially cleaned for the event.

The men's 1,600 metre race kicks off at 12.30pm - while the women's race begins at 1.30.

Dublin's Lord Mayor Oisin Quinn says many serious athletes will be taking part:
