Customs officers have recovered over 300-thousand euro worth of cannabis in two separate seizures at Rosslare Europort and Limerick.

230-thousand euro worth of the drug was discovered at Rosslare after an X-Ray scan and a search by officers. Two Lithuanian nationals were arrested at the scene.

In Limerick, 86-thousand euro worth of cannabis was found in an intelligence-led operation when a package  arrived from Spain at an address in Limerick.

Three people were arrested and are being questioned by the Gardaí.
