They escaped with a sum of money in a jeep which was found abandoned at the Spawell Car Park a short time later.
Two men and two women were arrested in a follow-up operation in Finglas last night.
The suspects, who aged in their 20s and 30s, are being held at Terenure and Rathmines Garda Stations.
