An Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe four viable improvised devices in Dublin this afternoon.

Following a request from Gardai, the defence forces team was deployed to waste ground off the Malahide Road.

The four devices were made safe and were taken to a secure military location for further examination. 

They will ulitmately be handed over to the Gardai to assist in their investigations.
