4 directors have been elected to board of Independent News & Media (INM).

Len O’Hagan, Triona Mullane, Jerome Kennedy and Leslie Buckley were appointed at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Dublin this morning.

A decision on who will be appointed chairman is to be taken at a board meeting.

The main interests of the group are in Ireland, Northern Ireland and South Africa.

It has also established a strong digital presence with more than 75 editorial, classified and transactional sites.

INM is the largest newspaper contract printer and wholesale newspaper distributor on the island of Ireland.

It employs approximately 2,900 people world-wide.
